Thank You, Welland Ward 1

To the residents of Ward 1: thank you.

I am deeply honoured by the trust you placed in me on October 26 to serve as your representative on Welland City Council. Whether you cast a ballot, volunteered your time, voiced a concern on your doorstep, or took a moment to ask questions, you shaped this campaign.
Our effort was built on a simple foundation: listening to our neighbourhoods. From responsible decision-making and reliable local services to safer streets and thoughtful, community-first growth, the priorities of Ward 1 guided every conversation.
To my family, our tireless campaign team, and every volunteer and supporter who offered encouragement along the way: this outcome belongs to all of us.Now, the real work begins. I am committed to representing Ward 1 with transparency, integrity, and an open door. Regardless of how you voted, I will work every day to earn your confidence and provide a steady, effective voice for our community at City Hall.

Staying Connected

Effective local government relies on continuous, open dialogue—not just communication during election season.
Throughout my term, I will ensure you stay informed about council debates, neighbourhood projects, and key decisions before they are finalized. I encourage you to reach out regularly with your ideas, questions, and perspectives. When we stay connected, we ensure Ward 1 remains a place where residents are genuinely heard, respected, and proud to call home.

Moving Ward 1 Forward

In the months and years ahead, my focus will be on practical, tangible progress that protects our quality of life:

  • Sound Infrastructure & Services: Prioritizing well-maintained roads, parks, and the essential city services our families rely on daily.
  • Balanced, Thoughtful Growth: Ensuring development respects the character of established neighbourhoods while delivering lasting value.
  • Community Well-Being: Making decisions that keep our streets safe, welcoming, and accessible for everyone.

Ward 1 has remarkable strengths. Together, we can build on them while confronting our local challenges with fairness and foresight.

Accountability at City Hall

You deserve a council that respects every tax dollar and operates with complete clarity. At the council table, I will advocate for disciplined budgeting, transparent reporting, and meaningful public consultation on major initiatives.
I will arrive prepared, ask the critical questions, and work constructively with my colleagues to ensure City Hall remains accountable to the people it exists to serve.

Thank you again, Ward 1. I am ready to get to work.
